Imlil - Azib Tamsoult
We started from Imlil towards the refuge of Azib Tamsoult at 2200 meters, passing by a pass at 2600 meters. We cross a small Berber village and climb gently among the Moroccan red rocks, in the distance, the greenery of the plains accompany the snow-capped mountains. Once arrived at the top of the pass, the weather is covered, it is even cold but the view is striking. The path to Azib Tamsoult then descends quietly offering a panorama of terraced crops. We can also see rivers and waterfalls.
Azib Tamsoult - refuge of Toubkal
After a good night's sleep at the shelter, we leave it at 7am. Continue to be at 2200 meters altitude and reach the refuge of Mount Toubkal at 3200 meters. But the first step is the Aglzim pass at 3600 meters. The climb is difficult, we pass sublime waterfall snow begins to show! Once in Aglzim, It then remains two hours of walk before reaching the refuge of Toubkal around 4PM, a good day.
Toubkal - Imlil
Last day with the most beautiful landscapes, but also with the biggest pain of legs. The departure of the refuge is at 5am. We will arrive at the top around 10 am and come down for lunch. The view from the top is amazing, continue hiking to reach the village of imlil again.
