The Itinerary of Desert 4x4 Tour Activity
An explorative journey to explore to merzouga wonders in 4WD, the tour includes the main highlights and attractions of Merzouga, a fast and fun adventure!
We will visit the village of Gnawa music in Khamlia, nomadic people, mountains, desert stones, Berber Village, Oasis, and nomads.
We will start our journey from the village of the blacks originally from Mali and Sudan, After listening and dancing with their Gnawa music, our adventure will be continue to the route of the rally Paris Dakar, we will follow the arid tracks of the desert to visit the mines Mefes after 30 minutes, of exploring and discovering the fossil land we will continue to visit a nomad family and stop for mint tea with nomads, here, you will discover how people can live in the desert with sandstorm in summer and very hot climate, after lunch we will continue always on the right track paris rally dakar to reach the end of Erg Chebbi. We will have a break to take pictures, and then cross the Berber villages to start another adventure in the sand dunes of Erg chebbi. Immerse yourself in a postcard decor while crossing the Erg Chebbi with camels; spend the night with the nomads under the stars or in Berber camp in the middle of the huge sand dunes. Merzouga, a small town swept by the wind at the doors of the Sahara. ARENOTHERAPY SAND BATH
Sore muscles or rheumatism. Let yourself be buried in the hot sand of the Merzouga desert, known for its therapeutic properties; Claustrophobe’s abstain. Psammatotherapy or arenotherapy or sand therapy or curative burial in sands or sand baths is a gentle medicine for people with rheumatism. It is actually literally sand baths, that is to say burying a few minutes in the hot sand of the dunes of Merzouga. Even though this practice is more frequent for locals, there is nevertheless a real tourism related to health in Merzouga.

CAMEL RIDE SUNSET
Ride camels for sunset is one of the main things that you shouldn’t miss when you are in Merzouga, you will crossg the Erg Chebbi with camels; spend the night with the nomads under the stars or in Berber camp in the middle of the huge sand dunes.
Merzouga has the highest dunes of all Morocco. Together, they make up the famous Erg Chebbi, whose great dune of Merzouga is the essential place of tourism in the Sahara. From a height of almost 200 meters, its ascent guarantees an incredible panorama, a huge expanse of sand dunes north of town. After the sunset you will ride camels back to your hotel or continue to the desert camp.

SAND BOARDING & QUAD BIKING
Erg Chebbi is also the ideal place for hiking in the Sahara or trekking on foot, mountain bike, or camel, it is also possible to practice paragliding or kites surfing from the great dune of Merzouga, an unforgettable sensations. A descent of the big dune to ski, surfing, bodyboarding, sledding ... Of course, the great dune of Merzouga is not equipped with ski lift, so it is on foot or possibly with a camel that you can climb, and then have fun down the slope for almost 160 meters! The Africa Hostel will gracefully lend you equipment usually used for winter sport.
